Nice form and ambiance the rendering is excellent . If you are not an HP lovecraft reader this might get you to become one
Ive read the Dark Writers work as a kid. This version of the classics war a fine recall of them. The music, illustrations and art are quite adequate to the gothic style. Prepare yourself for exquisite surprises. Read/watch it with earphones; perhaps arrange for a projection and read it for your friends in a moonless night. Be sure to have a full battery on your device! Or export audio to stereo bluetooth.
The 4-language translation is also very well done, allowing even the switch of languages in different pages for a polyglot experience.
It would be fine to have it translated also to the German and ltalian (Im a polyglot, but couldnt reach such translations).An experience worth every cent.
It was awesome! Beautifully done. Made me want more, definitely going to try the other ones. Very interactive, makes you really get into the story, beautiful music. :) I love it.
I wasnt quite sure what to expect when I delved into this exotic collection of literature. Though the stories were familiar to me, the presentation allowed a whole new experience that excited me.
Well done, A+, I cannot wait for more of Lovecrafts work in this style of storytelling.
For the price I paid, I really wish it was longer. Quite unfortunate, but I guess if the worst part is that it ended too soon, its a pretty great app. Its just that there were only three stories, and one was hardly a few paragraphs. But seriously amazing execution! THIS is how lovecraft ought to be told!!
As a big fan of the iPoe collection, I can only say that every new iClassics book is going better and better.
Some bad moments
Very interesting and moody transcription of the great HP Lovecraft. App is extremely clunky when scrolling through pages. Hopefully, there is a fix soon
Any Lovecraft fan will enjoy this, I hope they make more Lovecraft stories, can hardly wait.
I enjoyed the 1st story. I read it on my lunch break. A whole lot better than having to listen to people talk.
This is an awesome way to experience the works of H.P. Lovecraft. However like the Poe classics app this needs a part 2.
I hope iClassics collections continue growing. Very well done adaptations, incredible visuals and great music.
It also supports many languages which is a huge plus. I hope they add Italian at some point.
How cool to be introduced to HP Lovecraft for the first time with this app. I was so impressed I bought all the interactive books. I later obtained several other Lovecraft titles and put the music soundtrack from this app on while I read each one. Great art...great music..and a great idea that seems so obvious. I hope we see more of this kind of thing with other titles and even novels.
