Ive read the Dark Writers work as a kid. This version of the classics war a fine recall of them. The music, illustrations and art are quite adequate to the gothic style. Prepare yourself for exquisite surprises. Read/watch it with earphones; perhaps arrange for a projection and read it for your friends in a moonless night. Be sure to have a full battery on your device! Or export audio to stereo bluetooth. The 4-language translation is also very well done, allowing even the switch of languages in different pages for a polyglot experience. It would be fine to have it translated also to the German and ltalian (Im a polyglot, but couldnt reach such translations).An experience worth every cent.

It was awesome! Beautifully done. Made me want more, definitely going to try the other ones. Very interactive, makes you really get into the story, beautiful music. :) I love it.

Very interesting and moody transcription of the great HP Lovecraft. App is extremely clunky when scrolling through pages. Hopefully, there is a fix soon

I wasnt quite sure what to expect when I delved into this exotic collection of literature. Though the stories were familiar to me, the presentation allowed a whole new experience that excited me. Well done, A+, I cannot wait for more of Lovecrafts work in this style of storytelling.

For the price I paid, I really wish it was longer. Quite unfortunate, but I guess if the worst part is that it ended too soon, its a pretty great app. Its just that there were only three stories, and one was hardly a few paragraphs. But seriously amazing execution! THIS is how lovecraft ought to be told!!

As a big fan of the iPoe collection, I can only say that every new iClassics book is going better and better.

Being a huge fan of all things Lovecraft, this 3 part collection was a novel treat. Bringing to life his stories in a way Ive never seen, this is a must-buy for Lovecraft fans. Only one thing prevents this from being a 5 star review: the dearth of content. While I did mention this contains 3 stories, 1 of them hardly counts, as it is literally only a couple of sentences long, reading more like a short poem than a story. Still, Dagon and The Hound make for entertaining reads, and it left me wanting more.

Its really short but its good. id appreciate it if theres a update adding another story

This app so far is an amazing romp through the darkness of HP Lovecrafts works. I recommend this app as a role player who has spent many a session romping through Call of Cthulhu and being exposed to the Mythos and all of its macabre. Excellent soundtrack and wonderful graphics truly capture the darkness between worlds.

Afew parts actually gave me a slight startle haha

Love this app, the stories are interactive and entertaining would highly recommend it.

Ive used this app many dozens of times since installing and unlike a number of my other apps its *never*off my desktop !!! I only wish they would release even more epic material based on the works of the grand old man of Providence !!!!

Have to say that as a Lovecraft fan, these stories are crafted with love and flair. The app only has a couple of stories but they are well adapted! More, please

This app is a fantastic adaptation of Lovecrafts work - Bravo!

I love H.P. Lovecraft and this app perfectly "gets" and celebrates Lovecrafts unique vision and writing. If your kids like horror, get this and have fun reading the tales aloud. Thats what Ive been doing and its great for summer holidays fun.

I am a huge fan of Lovecrafts and I thoroughly enjoyed this app. The music and animations gave the well loved stories new depth and gave me shivers more than once. I agree with others that it seemed too short. There needs to be more stories like these.
